Our Vision

We want to open a recycling facility that recycles everything in house here in our community. The vision only comes to fruition with people like you choosing to sign up for our service. We make our services as affordable as possible and have designed our program to cover the cost for transportation in collecting glass. We can make our community better by enabling residents more options to recycle . Currently Atlanta only has one major glass recycler. Drop off centers are just shippers, not recyclers of glass. We want to be a full operating recycler.

Our Projects

Sand

Our first milestone is to purchase a  machine to convert collected glass into reusable sand. Sand is a critically endangered  resource and is used for coastline restoration, construction, and many more important everyday items we use.  Recycling glass is one way to create sand out of renewable resources.

Total Cost: $16000

How many residents we need to sign up to reach this milestone: 800

Full Scale Glass  Operating Equipment

Our goal is to recycle 100 percent of our collections. The only way to ensure this happens is by having our own facility to process our recyclables.

Total Cost: $200,000

How many residents we need to sign up to reach this milestone: 10,000

Warehouse

We want to purchase land and warehouse space here in North Atlanta to contribute to our local economy. Operating a recycling business means having the right space to do just that!

Total Cost: $500,000+

How many residents we need to sign up to reach this milestone: 25,000

Full Service Fleet of Vehicles to Support Every Resident

Our goals are endless. We want every person in our pickup area to have access to equal opportunities to recycling their glass. This means creating new jobs and purchasing a full fleet of vehicles to meet the demand of residents.

Total Costs: 1M+

Number of Residents: Minimum 50,000

Will You Recycle

The customer, you, are the most important piece to making this vision a reality. Without the support of customers our program cannot work. Recycling is no longer an option, it's a must.  Landfill space is finite, resources are depleting, and renewables are a solution!

Sand Wars

"This year, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) presented a “Global Material Resources” report at the World Circular Economy Forum in Yokohama, Japan. The report projected raw material extraction “to double by 2060 with severe environmental consequences.” Sand, gravel, and crushed rock account for more than half of these materials. “[A]s the global economy expands and living standards rise,” the report states, we will witness “twice the pressure on the environment that we are seeing today.”
